Welcome to ARIALAND Kennel

We have been breeding German Shepherds professionally for over 15 years. Our German Shepherds come from the best blood lines from World Sieger shows BSZS or S.A.S. We are dedicated to bringing dogs from the best champions (VA - V ). Arialand Kennel is another branch of the Italian TERRA SCURA Kennel, which is engaged in breeding/training in North Dallas, Texas, USA.

Our main goal is to breed the best West German Shepherd show line in terms of health, originality, excellent temperament, beauty and with the best anatomy and participating in the world sieger show ( BSZS ) and sometimes the sieger shows in (S.A.S Italy or United States). To achieve this, we breed with the latest and most professional production methods, which we will discuss further.

Breeding West German Shepherds is very different from other dogs, and with the wrong choice in mating, unhealthy and non-genuine puppies will be born, and breeder science and experience are very important in this breed. One of the reasons we send our females to Germany and Italy to mate with champions is to produce very healthy puppies in terms of genetics, health, beauty, and originality. We are dedicated to using this path of mating in the long-run. Our choice in adult dogs is only those dogs that have been able to win the position of VA or V in the world or national competitions of Germany and Italy, or in which the youths and Youngs Class have succeeded in obtaining the position of SG.

In the professional breeding of this breed, we follow the rules of SV Germany, which is specific to the German shepherd breed, and contrary to what people think, AKC does not have any rules for breeding German Shepherd. We can provide AKC registration forms based on client requests..

In SV rules, to be able to mate a dog, you must get the korung ( KKL or Breeding license), in which the dog must be at least two years of age. To get a KKL there are many steps to go through before the dog gets the KKL. The steps to be taken are:

  • WB (Wesentest)
  • X-Ray test (hips and elbow)
  • DNA test
  • BH
  • IGP (at least IGP1 )
  • AD
  • Once the steps above have been completed, the dog must participate in a SHOW and receive the breed survey from the judge.

All this is to control this breed so that their health, originality and temperament will improve better.

As you can see, professional breeding is very different from having two or more dogs in the backyard, which is advertised and sold under the title of AKC Registration, which has no value in this breed. The only thing the AKC wants from the breeder is personal information and the dog's name and a DNA test to register the dog, which can be obtained for a low amount. Keep in mind having your dog registered does not mean that this dog has a good temperament, good genetics, good health, or being full breed. Nor do they guarantee the dog has the right position of the dog's hips and elbows.

In most countries, there are rules and regulations for breeding that if the breeder acts against it, he will be fined and his puppies will not be registered. In breeding German Shepherds, the breeder cannot mate a long-haired dog with a short-haired one or vice versa. If this happens, none of the puppies can be registered and receive the pedigree from the kennel club of their country. Another issue is the age of mating, for example, in Germany it should be two years and in Italy it should be 20 months, and the rest of the breeds should be at least 18 months old. It will not be registered if it is not born from two parents that are 100% pure, but unfortunately in America, the only kennel club that registers dogs is AKC, which has nothing to do with the mating of long coat with short coat and vice versa, regarding the age of the dog. The minimum age of the female should be 8 months and the minimum age of the male should be 7 months, and the maximum age of both sexes should be 12 years!!!  Another thing that does not matter is the health and genetic diseases of the dog or the pedigree of the dog, which is not restricted when registering a dog or puppy on the AKC website.

Choosing the right puppy:

In the calls and requests to buy puppies from us, there are points that need more explanation and a series of wrong standards have been established in the society, which we want to explain to those interested in this breed. A person who intends to buy and choose a puppy should have more accurate criteria, such as weight and size and AKC registration, everything is defined in the specialized description of this breed and it has a special standard, and being different from it is a sign of genuineness. It is the absence of a dog. for example:

Weight:

Males: 66-88 pounds (30-40 kg)

Females: 49-71 LB (22-32 kg)

Height:

Male: 24-26 inches (60-65 cm)

Female: 22-24 inches (55-60 cm)

Our dogs are all imported From Germany - Italy and other European Countries and have more than a hundred years of genealogy and their fathers and grandfathers and ancestors are the heroes and the best and most famous dogs in the world. ( VA - V BSZS or S.A.S. )

Key Note:

Once our female has confirmed pregnancies, her litter will be ready for reservations. To guarantee a puppy is yours, you must pay a deposit before pick-up, and pay the remainder once the puppy is ready for pick up or shipping. Price of puppies:

The price of the puppies is according to their blood line and the documents and status of their parents, and each generation has a different price from other generations. Also the puppies that are born at the same time and from the same parents do not have the same price, their prices are different due to  them having different appearance and temperament.

Our puppies range from $2,500 to $6,000. We also offer financing for our clients who wish to do so. If the buyer does not intend to finance, 25% of the amount of the puppy will be paid as a deposit, and the rest must be paid off once the puppy is 8 weeks of age.
